Artist's Description

Pastel portrait used as a book illustration in Journal 97 (the case notes of E.R.Satz). The frame and crackle were added to give the appearance of authenticity. As the story line goes, this was a photograph donated by Belgian art collector and amateur historian. Most likely it is a portrait of Demi King when he was ruler of Lăstări. Unsigned and not dated it was probably painted circa 1430.
