Hay Wheels - Pastel metal print by Ben Kotyuk.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Very sweet Shiva. For a while I lived in the middle hay growing area. There was a very calming energy there.

Thank you Jane for comment. I always like looking at the hay wheels at sunset. Funny this pastel came out looking like watercolor to me, maybe I'll try again at some point. Very glad you liked it.

The large hay wheels laying in the open fields with the low angle light casting long dark shadows seemed to mimic some ancient ritual site. I soon discovered what my ritual was. To climb on top with someone I love and watch the sun go down.

As a child I always had a propensity for drawing and building things. At the age of twelve and with the help of an insightful teacher, I was enrolled in an art school. After two years of exploring various creative disciplines, I focused on package/product design. Upon graduating, I went to work in a corporate art department. In those days, product design was not considered very important so it was begrudgingly handled as part of the advertising responsibilities. This meant I was also required to design ads and catalogs along with an array of promotional items.
